Ubuyagasaki graces the shores of Lake Kawaguchi, nestled beside the grand Lake Kawaguchi Great Bridge. This picturesque spot is conveniently reachable by either car or bus from Fujikawaguchiko Station, with the added convenience of a parking area situated in close proximity.
Ubuyagasaki offers a pristine panorama of Mount Fuji, particularly on days when the sky is clear. The placid surface of Lake Kawaguchi serves as a canvas, capturing the majestic reflection of Mount Fuji and creating a breathtaking ‘mirror effect.’ This tranquil haven stands apart, providing a respite from the lively atmosphere found at other attractions around the Fuji Five Lakes. On April 1st, 2024, I enjoyed a walk from my hotel to the Great Bridge. Along the way, I shared the path with cyclists who were also making their way across. Reaching the other side, I descended to the lakeshore, where the majestic Mount Fuji greeted me with its full grandeur. Here are some photos I captured during my stroll along the beautiful lakeside.
