Hakodate Park is a big park in Western style, located in Hakodate, Hokkaido, Japan. Opened in 1879, it's known for its beauty and registered as a protected scenic spot. The park has the
Hakodate City Museum, a small zoo, a children's amusement park, and is popular for seeing cherry blossoms in spring.

Hakodate Park's easy access from Hakodate Station made it a frequent destination during my visit, drawing me in three times between April 20th and 22nd. One evening, I ventured into the park after reading about its beautiful illuminations. It was a magical sight. Another visit brought me to the park in the early morning, seeking serenity and a quieter atmosphere. The photos below capture moments from this peaceful visit.
