The River Cam runs through the heart of Cambridge ⭐⭐enabling you to enjoy fantastic views of the world famous Cambridge College ‘Backs’ from the comfort of a traditional Cambridge Punt.
Punt Tour of the River Cam
The below photos were taken on 12/25/2022 (Christmas Day; a cloudy day and gratefully it was not too cold) while relaxed on a Punt Tour of the river.
Relax on a Punt Tour of the river and take in the beautiful views of the college “Backs” – the ideal opportunity to take photographs of the iconic colleges, from a unique and privileged viewpoint.
On that day, we have started from Silver Street Bridge, passed through Mathematical Bridge, and Bridge of Sighs, etc. as shown on the map in the left-to-right direction.
Punting—pushing a flat and wide boat, along mainly shallow rivers, with the use of a long pole |
Mathematical Bridge—the only wooden bridge spanning the River Cam (first built in 1749; replica built from 1904) |
