Girona Day Trip from Barcelona: A Medieval Escape

Image
Girona , a small city located about 99 km (62 mi) north of  Barcelona , is the capital of the Girona province and the  Costa Brava  region. It's a city rich in ancient history, vibrant architecture, and world-class cuisine. You can explore the old city walls, visit the ancient Roman-Arabic style baths, discover the vast  Girona Cathedral , and wander through the tiny alleyways of the Jewish Quarter. Because much of its old quarter has been preserved,  Girona  is a popular tourist destination and has even been used as a filming location. You might recognize parts of  Girona , even if you've never been there before, as scenes from season six of  Game of Thrones  were filmed here. 25 Most Beautiful Medieval Towns of Europe (YouTube link ) Photo Gallery On December 20, 2019, we took a  full-day tour  from  Barcelona  to visit  Girona  and  Costa Brava , provided by  Explore Catalunya . Video 1.  Andalusia Travel―Visiting Hidden Narrow Alleys  ⭐ (YouTube link ) One of the most visited narrow alleys in Spain could be Calleja de las Flores in  Córdoba  city in  Andalusia , Spain. This is a narrow and sinuous white-washed alley, where balconies are filled with flowers.  However, such beautiful narrow alleys also exist in many other cities in Andalusia. During my Christmas travel in 2019, I was fortunate enough to be able to visit some of them, which is truly memorable.  Below are the cities that are shown in the video: Ronda (12/25/2019) Seville (12/25 - 12/28) Cordoba (12/28 - 12/30) Ronda Owner of this house had invited me into his beautiful quarter yard as shown below Seville Spain Travel―Experiencing the Paella Dish   Cordoba Food Market Mercado Los Patios De Lamarquesa Cashmere House Calleja de las Flores
