At Mt. Shosha's  Engyo-ji  Temple 圓教寺, the  Maniden  摩尼殿 ⭐stands as the main attraction. This magnificent structure resembles Kyoto’s  Kiyomizu-dera  清水寺, but unlike Kiyomizu-dera's bustling crowds,  Engyo-ji   offers a quieter experience . When we visited in autumn, the temple appeared more quaint and elegant against the backdrop of  golden maple leaves, enhancing its unique charm . Its traditional and quaint architecture makes  Engyo-ji  Temple a frequent choice as a backdrop for filming movies .
