Dubrovnik is one of the top 10 European cities which stand out for their beauty. [1] Dubrovnik , a  seaport ,  is one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the Mediterranean Sea. In 1979, the city of Dubrovnik was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in recognition of its outstanding medieval architecture and fortified old town. Dubrovnik  was also the main filming location in Croatia for King's Landing, a fictional city in Game of Thrones , the famous television series based on the series of fantasy novels “A Song of Ice and Fire” and distributed by HBO. Girona , a small city located about 99 km (62 mi) north of  Barcelona , is the capital of the Girona province and the  Costa Brava  region. It's a city rich in ancient history, vibrant architecture, and world-class cuisine. You can explore the old city walls, visit the ancient Roman-Arabic style baths, discover the vast  Girona Cathedral , and wander through the tiny alleyways of the Jewish Quarter. Because much of its old quarter has been preserved,  Girona  is a popular tourist destination and has even been used as a filming location.
