Lisbon Travel―Visiting Praça do Comércio and Its Nearby Areas

Praça do Comércio facing the Tagus (Tejo) to the South

Praça do Comércio (or Town Center⭐⭐) is the most magnificent plaza in Lisbon, and one of the highlights of the city.[1]
The plaza reflected the wealth and ambitions of Portugal during the late 18th century. It was here that captains and merchants would plan perious sea-voyages to Brazil, India and South East Asia and then trade their goods on returning.

The following photos were taken between January 2nd and 3rd, 2023, on both of which the weather was sunny. As these dates fell within the New Year holiday period, all the Christmas lights remained lit on the streets.
