If you have more than a Day in Salzburg, you might want to head into the lake district for lakes, mountains and cute villages. The most popular of these cute villages is Hallstatt ⭐⭐⭐, which became the most popular place to visit in Austria overall.

Planning for Skywalk 

If you join Panorama Tours like I had, the tour will take 1 and 1/2 hours to get there.  So, probably you will have 2 and 1/2 hours for free activities.  Based on the tour guide, the normal time (i.e., pre-pandemic time) to plan for Skywalk is probably 45 mins (i.e., you could need to wait on the queue to get up or down via cable car).  Then you need to pay attention on how much time you want to spend on the top (i.e., either 15 mins or 30 mins) because the cable car departures in every 15 mins.
