Denmark Travel—Visiting Nyhavn, a 17th-Century Waterfront

Nyhavn (New Harbor⭐⭐)

Nyhavn is a 17th-century waterfront, canal and entertainment district in Copenhagen, Denmark. Stretching from Kongens Nytorv to the harbor front just south of the Royal Playhouse, it is lined by brightly colored 17th and early 18th century townhouses and bars, cafes and restaurants.

The photos below were taken on April 2, 2023, during a boat ride with Nettobådene from Copenhagen's waterfront to the Little Mermaid statue and back. The boat ride provides stunning views of the city skyline, including the Nyhavn canal district, the Amalienborg Palace, and the Copenhagen Opera House.
