Lake Bled is one of the most popular places in picture perfect Slovenia nestled in the foothills of the Julian Alps (see Video 1). Lake Bled is famous for its:
- Emerald-green waters
- Small island with a church and an ancient castle on the cliff
- Perfect destination for outdoor and nature lovers
- In summer
- The lake is a popular swimming and rowing destination

- The lake freezes and becomes a fairytale ice skating rink

- Train
- Ljubljana → Train (39m; hourly) → Lesce Bled → Bus (8m; every 30m) → Bled
- Bus
- Avtobusna postaja Ljubljana (or Bus Station) → Bus (1h 6m; hourly) → Bled
