Dallas Blooms 2018―A World of Flowers

Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden ⭐⭐

Dallas Blooms starts from February 24 to April 8 and the theme of 2018 is "A World of Flowers."  On top of 500,000 blooms, every week focuses on a different region, including the a Taste of the World March 17-23 and Asia March 24-30.

You'll see this theme represented in programming throughout the garden, including activities, tastings, and classes in A Tasteful Place, educational activities in the Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden, and most notably, at International Crossroads during the "International Festival" every weekend in Pecan Grove.

In this article, Purple Wisteria is our focus.

Purple Wisteria

Wisteria is a genus of flowering plants in the legume family that includes ten species of woody climbing vines that are native to China, Korea, and Japan and as an introduced species to the United States including Dallas here.

One of the best place to view Purple Wisteria at Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is at Water Walls.
